Barbara Littig Obituary
Bluffs - Barbara D. "Dee" Littig, 86, of Bluffs passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. She was born, Sept. 15, 1937, in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Joe and Pauline Cox Smith. She married John W. Littig, Sept. 27, 1957, and he preceded her in death Mar. 4, 2009.
Surviving are children, Terry (companion, Celine Trnka) Littig, Kerry (Sharon) Littig both of Bluffs and Amy (Charles Jr.) Rivers of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Ashley Littig, Taylor (companion, Steve Stills) Littig, Kali (Kris) Kunzeman, Kourtney (Jared) Sanders, Eric (companion, Morgan Freed) Littig, Angela (Josh) Spray, Bonnie (Michael) Bruce and Tierney Trnka; 11 great grandchildren and 1 brother, Steve Smith. She was preceded by 3 siblings.
Dee was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Neelyville. She was once employed by the Bluffs Times and Farmers State Bank in Jacksonville. She enjoyed bowing and golfing.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2024, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Neelyville with interment in the Trinity Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Association or Meredosia/Bluffs Rescue Squad.
