Barbara was born on May 12, 1953, in Burbank, Illinois, a daughter of James and Doris Kenny (nee Greer). Barbara and Bob moved to Boynton beach to be closer to her parents. There she, along with Bob, shared a wonderful home with her beloved Yorkie, "Cody". She loved her motorcycle; creating Stain Glass pieces, and looked forward to the Friday Night "Happy Hours' with her "Backyard Gang".
Beloved wife of 39 years to Robert "Bob" Long; loving mother to Jennifer (Craig) Carey, Tony (Michaela) Marsala and Kenny Marsala; adoring grandmother to Dylan and Avery Carey, Sawyer, Tony, Jr., and Siena Marsala; cherished daughter to Doris Greer Kenny; loving sister to Nancy McDonald, Patti (Mike) Compton, Jean (Dean) Worker, Sandy Kenny (Phil) Johnston, Dennis (Diane) Kenny. Predeceased by her adoring father, James Kenny.
A Cryptside service will be held at 10:30 am Friday, December 5, 2025, in the chapel of the Boynton Beach Mausoleum, 1611 S. Seacrest Boulevard, Boynton Beach, Florida 33435.
