Barbara Lystrup Obituary
Barbara was born on April 1, 1953, in Molalla, Oregon, the cherished daughter of Phyllis and Alvin Uitto. She is preceded in death by her parents and her dear sister Denise.
A free spirit at heart, Barbara led a colorful life, rich with experiences, although her journey was not always easy. Her life was enriched by her love of music, art, science, and nature-passions that she pursued with an open heart and an inquisitive mind.
Her daughter Makenzie survives her, as well as a biological son, a brother, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In honoring Barbara's memory, the family requests that donations be made to the Oregon Humane Society, an organization that reflects her deep compassion for animals. As we bid farewell to Barbara, let us celebrate the memories we have of her in the best of times.
