Rest in peace, Barbara Martinez.
I didn´t get to say goodbye, but you have never left my heart. I am endlessly grateful for the time I was given with you. When I was young, lost, and unsure where I belonged, you opened your home and your heart and showed me what family truly was.
I´ll always treasure the simple joys we shared nights at bingo, sneaking cigarettes on your front porch and sunday meals at your daughters ... those moments tmade me feel safe and like I belonged..
Your love helped shape who I am, and that legacy lives on. My prayers to your family!
