Barbara Elaine Mast, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on Monday, August 12th, 2024 at Hospice Savannah Inc.. Born on Tuesday, April 27th, 1948 in Muncie, Indiana, Barbara was the daughter of the late Chester Gerald Skinner and the late Emily Lenora Mader Skinner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister and brother in law Naomi Taylor (Lewis).

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Edward Everett Mast Jr, her children Tim Ray (Shelly), Brian Ray (Lone), Mark Ray (Betsy), Stephannie Harris, Stacy Bennett, Jeffery Mast, and Kelly Potter (Jacob). She is also survived by her sister Donna McCutchen (Steve Lingle), her brother, Gerald Skinner, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even a great-great-grandchild, as well as nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Angel.

Barbara retired as an Administrator at Meridian Services in Indiana and she was an active member of Alee Shrine Ladies Auxiliary, the Effingham Shrine Club Auxiliary, and the Alee Mobile-Classic Unit Ladies Auxiliary. She was passionate about painting, crocheting, and was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.

A Visitation will be held at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel on Saturday, August 24th, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alee Shrine Temple Morris Slotin Fund at PO Box 14147 Savannah, GA 31416 or aleeshriners.org.

Barbara will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
