McCain - Barbara J. McCain, age 77, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025. She was born on June 8, 1948, in Tampa, Florida, to the late George and Doris Ulrickson. As the oldest of four children, she grew up in a close-knit home built on love and deep-rooted family values-principles that became the foundation of the life she lived and the legacy she leaves behind. In high school, Barbara met Bobby McCain, who became the love of her life. Together they shared 50 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2016. Their union was blessed with three children, and although she was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Lance and Brian, her devotion to her family never wavered. Barbara will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and generous spirit. Her legacy is one of love, family, and deep roots that will continue to inspire generations to come.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Lisa McCain; son-in-law, Michael Warren; grandsons, Chase and Braden (Roxana); and her cherished great-granddaughter, Salma. Barbara's life was also enriched by her siblings, nephews, and nieces who loved her dearly.

The tribute above was prepared by Barbara's loving family.

A Celebration of Barbara's Life will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Bay Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Barney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of CEDAR BAY FUNERAL HOME, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32218. (904) 714-1110.
