Barbara Ann (Yoder) Miller
1944 ~ 2025

Weatherby, Missouri…Barbara Ann (Yoder) Miller was born August 12, 1944, to Albert and Emma Yoder. She went to be with the Savior she loved on November 22, 2025, at the age of 81 years, 3 months, 10 days, at her home at Weatherby, MO.

She grew up in Middlefield, Ohio, and married Allan A. Miller on January 2, 1965. They were married for 51 years, until Allan's death in 2016. They loved each other devotedly and created a happy home for their family.

Barbara leaves nine children, Nathan (Mary Sue) Miller, Fairland, OK, Keturah (Tim) Sommers, Weatherby, MO, Rhoda (Marion) Sommers, Hindsville, AR, Faith (Paul) Sommers, Grangeville, ID, Sharon (Wayne) Nissley, Weatherby, MO, Lois (Maurice) Graber, Bastrop, TX, Charity (Simon) Graber, Bastrop, TX, Matthias (Kathleen) Miller, Huntsville, AR, Micah (April) Miller, LaGrange, IN; 45 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Marvin and Elmer Yoder; and a sister, Bertha Yoder.

Her surviving siblings are: Albert (Mary Ann) Yoder, Martha Stutzman, Elma (Bill) Fisher, Sadie (Paul) Troyer, Sara (Ray) Miller, and Roy (Arlene) Yoder.

Mom gave her heart to Jesus, was baptized as a young lady, and was a faithful member of Maysville Christian Fellowship. She loved people, and she had many friends. She sent hundreds of cards and prayed for all the people she knew.

Mom was talented in sewing and pieced many quilts and baked the best pumpkin pies. She loved pampering her family and making special foods.

Three years ago, she was diagnosed with lymphoma, and after taking chemotherapy, she was cancer-free for over two years.

On July 4th she complained of stomach pain, and a month later she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She didn't want any treatment and was resigned to the Lord's will, praising Him for His mercy and saving love.
