Barbara Mitchell Obituary
A native of Greer, daughter of the late Herman and Geneva Beatrice Bailey Chesney, she was a homemaker and a member of Old Fashioned Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William R. Mitchell of the home; three sons, Philip McKinney, Steven McKinney, and Richie McKinney all of Greer; a brother Ronnie Chesney of Greer; ten grandchildren, Chad, Bradley, Kyle, Tyler, Dustin, Lauren, Jacob, Shane, Eric, and Ashley; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mitchell was predeceased by her first husband, Benny Randolph McKinney.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2026, at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Danny Monroe.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 123 West Antrim Drive, Greenville, South Carolina 29607.
