Barbara Moore Obituary
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the American Legion Hall in Dows with Richard Echelberger officiating.
Barbara Ellen, daughter of Daniel and Marjorie (Rosa) Kitson, was born on October 14, 1944 in Richmond, Indiana. Barb grew up in Dayton, Ohio. After high school, Barb earned her bachelor's degree in teaching from Fort Wayne Bible College. Barb taught and did other jobs before retiring and moving to Dows.
Barb found joy in being with her friends, family and time spent together – especially at The Crème, the "Bingo Bunch", going to fun functions and sharing laughter with those around. Barb cherished being Keith's "Honeybee" and their time spent together over the years. Nothing meant more to her than being a devoted Mom and Grandma.
Above all else, Barb believed love was the most important thing in life, it truly was her favorite word!
Barb is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Jack) Fan; grandson Caden Fan; and boyfriend Keith Patterson.
She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Charity Hope Inouye; and her parents Daniel and Marjorie Kitson.
