SELENE BARBARA NADLER 1931-2009 Troy, New York NADLER Selene Barbara Nadler of Woodrow Court in Troy died on Sunday morning April 26, 2009 at the Hospice Unit at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Mrs. Nadler was born in Watertown, NY and resided most of her life in Troy, NY. Selene had been employed for 26 years in environmental services at the Samaritan Hospital. Prior to the she had been employed by the NYS Dept.of Naval Affairs. Selene was a member of Temple Beth El in Troy and Hadassah. She is survived by her husband, Ernest G. Nadler, 3 sons, Richard H. Nadler of Colonie, Mitchell Nadler of Cohoes, NY and Joel I. Nadler of Florida and a daughter, Bonnie L. Tilley of Troy. Sister of Mel Wilcove of Voorheesville, NY, Elaine Wilcove of Guilderland, NY, Edward Wilcove of Latham, NY and Deanna Langer of Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. Grandmother of Claire and Kyle Nadler, Seth, Erica, and Candace Nadler and Aaron and Rebecca Tilley. She also leaves her 3 canine companions, Rocks, Tank and Ricky. She was predeceased by her brother, Myles Wilcove of Oakland, California. Services at the Beth El Cemetery Belle Avenue, Troy, NY on Tuesday April 28, 2009 at 2:00pm. Those wishing to remember Selene in a special way may make a memorial contribution to Temple Beth El, 411 Hoosick Street, Troy, NY 12180 or Community Hospice of Rensselaer County, 295 Valley View Blvd. Rensselaer, NY 12144. The period of mourning will be observed on Tuesday at the home of Mel Wilcove, 4 Wedgewood Lane in Voorheesville, NY.
