OMG. I worked with Barb at JR King Elementary School in Detroit, Michigan. I have called her and emailed her several times this month but to no avail. I did not know that she had passed. My deepest condolences and sympathies to her family.

Sending prayers and condolences, I am one of her students from Burt Elementary, Detroit MI I was one of her "super students " I would run errands and help her sell her suckers and stuff throughout the year. She had me sign up for many after school programs and become a peer mediator happy to have those memories.

I will truly miss Babara! We talked daily for the past two years! We worked together at Burt Elementary from 2006 to 2010. Barbara's favorite topic was politics! She loved and cherished her family! My deepest condolences to her family. May God give you peace!
