Barbara L. Oberdorf passed away on March 23,2025 at the age of 83 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice in New Port Richey, FL. She was born on November 14, 1941 in Bridgeton, N.J.
Her surviving children are Kathy Johnson of Waynesboro, Ga; Linda Cooper of Waynesboro, Ga; and Sharon (Joe) Miller of Port Richey, FL. She had three grandsons: John Paul Reeves Jr. of Hephzibah, Ga; Christopher Cooper of Waynesboro, Ga; and Ethan Hodgkin of Port Richey, FL.
Preceding Barbara in death were her parents Vincent (Audrey) E. Lafferty Sr. and a brother; Vincent E. Lafferty Jr.
She was retired as a registered nurse and was considered to be proper and poised both professionally and personally. She was of Lutheran faith. She enjoyed international traveling and the love for ballroom dancing.
Per wishes of the family, a memorial service will be private. A very special thank you to the staff at Solaris Healthcare Bayonet Point for the wonderful care they gave our mother.
