Barbara Ouellette Obituary

Barbara A. (Caesar) Ouellette, 91 of Newington, CT passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Roger B. Ouellette, her mother Mary E Caesar and her brother Peter P. Caesar, III. Auntie / Aunt Bobbie, or as she used to say when she called, "this is your favorite Aunt," also leaves behind a niece, Karen Forsman of Newington and four nephews, Peter Caesar of Newington, Gregg Caesar of Rocky Hill, Mark Caesar of Newington, and Brian Caesar of East Hartford. Barbara was born and raised in Hartford, CT and graduated from Weaver High School. In her earlier years, she worked at Whitney Chain and then went on to work at Atlantic Ventilating for many years as a receptionist. Barbara was an avid dog lover. Anytime she would see a dog, she never passed up on an opportunity to go up to meet and greet the dog. She always had treats on-hand to give to all the dogs in the neighborhood and for all her niece and nephews' dogs. Barbara also loved to sew and crochet. She was very good at sewing, often fixing many garments for family members, and she also crocheted numerous afghans, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens. Services for Barbara will be private with Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or to the Dementia Society of America at www.dementiasociety.org.
