Barbara Parker, age 94, of Warsaw, passed away at Paddock Springs Nursing Home on May 28, 2025. She was born on September 8, 1930 to Edwin and Irene (Minear) Alexander, in Warsaw, Indiana. A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Barbara was known for her warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1948. She would marry her husband Richard Parker on June 17, 1950.
Throughout her life, Barbara cultivated a range of interests that showcased her zest for living. She had a passion for camping and found joy in the simplicity of mowing her yard and nurturing her large vegetable garden. Barbara was also an enthusiastic square dancer. She took great pride in decorating and hosting during the festive Christmas season. A dedicated member of Trinity United Methodist Church for many years, she enriched her community through her involvement in the church choir.
Barbara is survived by her three sons: Mike (Debra) Parker of Warsaw, Brad (Debra) Parker of Warsaw, and Barry (Regina) Parker of Leesburg. Adding to her legacy are her seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, who cherished her unwavering love and support.
She is preceded in death by her husband, who passed away in 1995, and her sister, Betty Parker.
Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw is entrusted with the arrangements. A Life Celebration Visitation will be held at First Christian Church, located at 115 Park Ridge Dr, Warsaw, IN, 46580 on June 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the same location from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at a later date at Graceland Cemetery in Claypool.
