Barbara Piasecki, age 81, of St. Cloud, formerly of Willmar, died Thursday, September 18, 2025, at St. Benedict's Community in St. Cloud. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Thursday, September 25, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. The Mass will be streamed at https://www.ourlivingwater.org/barbarapiasecki.html. In remembrance of Barb's love of flowers, people are encouraged to dress in bright colors. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Meals on Wheels or the Church of St. Mary. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Homes, www.hafh.org.

Barbara Jane Piasecki was born December 14, 1943, in Olivia, Minnesota, to Joseph and Lydia (Kodet) Serbus. She grew up and attended school in Franklin, graduating from Franklin High School in 1961. She then obtained her nursing degree through the St. Cloud Hospital.

She was united in marriage to Bernard "Ben" Piasecki on May 8, 1965, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Franklin and three children: Steve, Krista and Susan, were born to their marriage. They lived in Sauk Rapids, where Barb worked as a registered nurse at the St. Cloud Hospital. In 1973, they moved to Willmar and Barb continued her nursing career at Rice Memorial Hospital. She was active with Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC). Barb retired in 2010 and moved to the St. Cloud area to be near her family in 2016.

Barb was a member of the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. She was also a member of the Lion's Club in Sauk Rapids and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Willmar, where she was part of the Sno-Club snowmobiling group. Barb enjoyed gardening, walking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three children: Steve (Ann) Piasecki of Rogers, Krista (Aaron) Skille of Sauk Rapids, and Susan (Matthew) Cox of Hermantown; four grandchildren Dan (April) Piasecki, Breeya Skille, Aiden Cox and Caitlin Cox; and four great-grandchildren: Connor, Aubry, Carter and Mason. Also surviving are her ten siblings: Jean McDonnell, Judy Tauer, Clare (Kirk) Jensen, Mike (Donna) Serbus, Therese (Joel) Johnson, Kathy (Mike) Lindblad, Joe (Doreen) Serbus, Ann (Earl) Johnson, Mary (Mike) Petersen and Paul Serbus; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents; and her husband: Ben in 2005.
