Barbara Ann Pollard of Skiatook, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the age of 75. She was born on Wednesday, January 11, 1950 to Arnold Carpenter and Rosabelle Kelley in Oxnard, California. Barbara grew up in California and met the love of her life there, she married Ronnie Pollard on Friday, July 30, 1965 in St. George, Utah at the age of 15. Their early years of marriage was spent going back and forth from California to Oklahoma but they finally settled in Oklahoma to raise their family. Barbara worked hard at any job she ever had; she worked her way up to be a manager at Schlotskys and her store was the number 1 store in all of Oklahoma. She was a big animal lover and took in any stray that came her way. She was always surrounded by an animal that she spoiled rotten. She loved to travel, especially cruises, and she loved to go out to eat with family and friends, you usually could find her at the local Cracker Barrel. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie of 54 years. Her father Arnold Carpenter, his wife Sue Carpenter, who she also considered one of her best friends, her mother Rose Kelley, brother Mickey Carpenter, her brother-in-law’s Mike & Steven Pollard, her nephew JoBob Pollard. She is lovingly survived by her three children, Tonya Schlosser and her husband, Paul, of Tulsa, OK; Ronnie Dale Pollard, Jr. and his wife, Janice, of Skiatook, OK; and Trina Clevenger and her husband Scott of Claremore, OK; grandchildren, Tyler, Blake and his wife Alicia, Brittnie and her husband Garrett, Trevor, Bailey and her husband Seth, Timothy and his wife Randi, Brian, Brooklyn and a bonus granddaughter Jennifer. Her great-grandchildren, Payton, Addy Rose, Jaxson, Daxton, Paisley, Remington, Harper, Stetson and Logan. She is lovingly survived by her siblings Gene Wisdom, Darlene Wood, Paula Pollard, Carol Hook, Ricky Carpenter and Jerry Carpenter. She has numerous nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family and a lifetime of friends.
