Barbara Ann Rager

Barbara & I were college roommates at BSU for all four years, & our Birthdays were just four days apart. Hers was on Aug. 7 & mine Aug. 11. Our initials were very similar also because both of our middle names were Ann. I was JAW & she was BAW & sometimes we called each other by that name just for fun. She was a Bridesmaid in our wedding one month after graduation. We have stayed in touch over our birthdays & at Christmas all these years. Our parents also visited each other & were friends. We were both Pi Phis at Ball State. We shared a dorm room with 2 other girls the first year and the second year, had one other girl with us our third year, & we were together alone our last year in a beautiful new dorm. She shared her typewriter with me because I didn't have one. Using it after she finished her homework, kept me up late plus when I was almost finished & made a mistake, I had to retype the whole thing. No Correction Tape back then, but I was still very grateful & appreciative. She also had a corn popper & on Friday nights when there was no meal service, we ate Campbell Soup from her popper & picnicked in our room. We made precious memories together. My husband & I both knew Neil & liked him SO much. We were deeply saddened with his missing status for so long & the burden it presented for Barb & their darling daughter. We pray that God has her in the Palm of his Hand & that she is finally reunited with Neil, & Dean.
