Barbara Reid Obituary
Barbara Marilyn (McBride) Reid, 95, of Springville, Utah, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Barbara was born on March 25, 1929, in Ogden, Utah, to George Wesley McBride & Johanna Christina Grondell. She was married to Julian Terry Reid. He proceeded her in death, January 9, 2019.
Barbara loved beauty, she loved beautiful artwork, she loved her beautiful yard (she was a talented landscaper), and loved her sweet pets (many beloved cats and dogs).
Barbara was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She is survived by her two children: Kristine Brock (Lake Arrowhead, CA), her son Craig Peterson, (Reedsport, OR), and 8 Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at the LDS Chapel located at 495 South Canyon Road, Springville, with a Viewing held that morning at the church from 10-11:30 am prior to the services. Graveside services will immediately follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, Springville.
