Barbara Mae Resta

Barbara M. Resta, 87, died peacefully in her sleep on the morning of November 18th at home surrounded by her immediate family. Barbara was loved by countless friends from her decades of work involving Tennis at Westford Swim and Tennis, Thoreau Club, and Orchard Hills Athletic Club. A longtime resident of Westford, MA, Barbara relocated to Raymond, New Hampshire in 2017 and loved following along to the "Raymond Squawk" page on her Facebook. Tennis, reading, music, gardening and playing bridge on her computer were among her favorite things. She loved all of her grandchildren as her own and she leaves an irreplaceable void in all of their lives. Her sense of humor, sarcasm, quick wit and razor-sharp honesty are legendary in her circles, and did not dissipate even in the last days of her life.

Barbara is survived by her son and daughter, Anthony and Jane, and her 8 grandchildren, who are forever profoundly affected by her love. There will be a celebration of life party held for her in the Spring.
