Barbara Jean Ridings age 82 of Beebe went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1943, in Searcy to Harry and Lucille Rose.

She was a Homemaker and a faithful member of Beebe First Baptist Church, where she was a strong prayer warrior. Barbara was a very giving person and loved to share gifts “delivered with love.” It was important to her to share her love of Christ with others. Barbara loved her grandchildren very much and raised them to attend church.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Karen Quattlebaum of Beebe; grandson Dawson Quattlebaum; 4 granddaughters Jennifer (Terry) Johnston, Jessica Ridings, Alexis Quattlebaum and Jordan Quattlebaum; 4 great granddaughters, Jayden Holliday, Isabella Fortson, Macey Ridings, Brady Johnston; and 1 great grandchild “on the way.”

She was preceded in death by her husband Allen; son Timmy; daughter Carol Sue; brother Bill Rose and sister Sue Evans.

Visitation is Friday evening, September 5th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry, Beebe. Funeral Services will be Saturday afternoon, September 6th at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist with burial to follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Beebe.
