Barbara Roebuck

Mrs. Barbara Roebuck, age 82 of Hartwell Georgia, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Eugene Blackwell and Beulah Roebuck Blackwell,

She was retired from The Swamp Guinea Restaurant in Hartwell, Georgia. She was a devoted member of Rucker's Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading books, and listening to country music.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Vernon Rucker and seven brothers and six sisters.  

She is survived by one daughter Charlene Roebuck and a son Sean Roebuck,sister Charlotte Roebuck of Atlanta, Ga. and one brother Fred Roebuck of Anderson, SC. along with six grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Per her wishes, cremation will follow after the service.
