Barbara is one of the most memorable people in my life. She and I graduated from the same high school. She was a majorette with the Harlandale High School band. Her energetic personality and compassion for others were among her outstanding traits admired by her many friends throughout her life. Barbara became my sister-in law when I married her "little" sister, Peggy in 1961 and her brother Allen became my brother-in-law. Later, Barbara took care of Peggy's and my young son Glenn during the day along with her own children - Debbie and Jeff, when Peggy began working. Glenn loved Barbara. She was like a second mother to him, and along with his cousins, another family which he enjoyed very much.
Barbara and Peggy are now together. My wife Merry and I will always treasure our friendship and memories we have of this beautiful and loving lady.
