Barbara Santilli, a loving mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on February 3, 1932, Barbara was a beacon of warmth and compassion in the lives of all who knew her.
Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony Santilli, and her daughter, Cindy, both of whom she adored with all her heart. She leaves behind a loving family, including her children, Cherie (Rich), Tony (Lynne), and Lisa (Ken), who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. Barbara was also a proud grandmother to nine wonderful grandchildren: Amy, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, Kelly, Joey, Kaylee, Krystina, and Anthony as well as a great-grandmother to 13 beautiful great-grandchildren: Sal, Ella, Madison, Reid, Mason, Scarlett, Savanah, Emerson, Alexa, Clara, Aria, Zoey, and Arowyn.
Barbara was born to William and Eleanor, who predeceased her, alongside her cherished siblings: Mary (predeceased), Bill, and Jerry. Family was the cornerstone of Barbara's life, and her love for them was evident in every moment they shared.
Known for her joyful spirit, Barbara found joy in simple pleasures. She loved playing games on her iPad, She delighted in spending precious time with her grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews, creating countless memories filled with laughter. Many summers were spent at Crooked Lake, where Barbara enjoyed the beauty of nature and the warmth of family and friendship. She loved going to the casino for a bit of fun and was renowned for her incredible cooking skills, often bringing everyone together around her table for delicious meals.
Barbara's life will be celebrated on Friday, December 19th from 10:00AM to 1:00PM at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather to share stories, reminisce, and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
As we remember Barbara, let us carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion, holding tight to the precious memories she gave us. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
