Barbara Berg Seuffert

Barbara Berg Seuffert, age 72, of Hockessin, DE, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, after succumbing to various health issues that she faced shortly after her brain cancer diagnosis in May 2022. She battled these challenges with grace and dignity up until the end.
Barbara was born in Norristown, PA, daughter of the late David and Lily (Campbell) Berg. In addition to raising her family, she worked as an administrative assistant for Christiana Care. She was a very talented artist and writer, having published 3 children's books. She adored her cats, and above all else, will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Seuffert; her daughter, Lesley Arena; her sisters, Claire Berg Rossé (William Spinelli), Arlene Berg Harris (Ralph), and Lisa Berg Wyman (Steve); her "aunt", Sandra Lawler; and her former husband, John Arena, Sr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Arena, Jr.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 10:30am.
