Barbara Jo "Bobbi" Shatell

Barbara "Bobbi" Jo Shatell, born on May 23, 1946, in Richland, WA, passed away peacefully from natural causes on January 8, 2026, at the age of 79. She was a dedicated Clerk at the Hanford area, contributing her skills and hard work to the nuclear industry throughout her career.
Throughout her life, Barbara was passionate about traveling, exploring new places and cultures. She had a profound appreciation for music and enjoyed horseback riding, often spending time outdoors with animals of all kinds. Her friendships were a source of great joy, and she cherished the moments spent with those she loved. Barbara's zest for life and her kind spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Kerry Shatell; children Joleen Pedersen, Sheila Giese, Kerry (Jr) and Debi Shatell. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Christina Pedersen, Jake Luvaas, Riley Pedersen, Alex Giese, Lili Poppert, and Stephanie Harcrow. Barbara's love for her family was evident in the time she spent with them, creating lasting memories filled with joy and laughter.
Barbara was preceded in death by parents, Clyde & Mary (Fitzgerald) Lawson; daughter Rhonda Kay Pedersen and son David Sheldon Pedersen
