Barbara J. Sitter, 85, of Omaha, NE, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at The Willows in Gretna, NE.
Barbara was born on September 30, 1940, in Shelbyville, IL, to John and Beatrice (Wallace) Bundy.
On June 30, 1979, in Munster, IN, she married Clarence Sitter who preceded her in death. Surviving are her 3 stepchildren, Vonnie (Alan) Fejes of Littleton, CO, Sherry (Patrick) Raidy of Cincinnati, OH, and Clarence Sitter III of Ripley, OH; daughters-in-law, Jackie Nelson of Gretna, NE and Cheryl Graham of Powers, MI; grandchildren, Amber (Ira) Saunders of Fort Myers, FL, Angela (Brandon) Alex of Gretna, NE, Adam Nelson (Molly) of Cadillac, MI, Kristin (Gordy) Busick of Green Bay, WI, Jacob Allgeier of Englewood, CO, Jenny (Robert) Smith of Banks, OR, Shannon (Déodat) Falo of St. Simons Island, GA, Shauna (Will) Duncan of Loveland, OH, and Shelley Raidy of Batavia, OH; great grandchildren, Lorelei, Aelle, Roman, Riley and Violet Smith, Zion Duncan, Grant and Owen Saunders, Liam, Charles, and Teddy Alex, Noah and Grace Nelson and Iris, Issac, and Lenette Busick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sons, Thomas Nelson and Timothy Nelson; 2 sisters, Linda Demkov and Donna Bundy; and 2 brothers, Ronald Bundy and Vernon Bundy.
Barbara was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, quilting and cooking. Barbara especially loved to play cards with family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Pine Lake Cemetery.
