1939 - 2021

Barbara A. (White) Skodak, 82, of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born July 7, 1939, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Arthur E. and Delma J. Malling White. Barbara was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and worked at Carbone's, Troutman's Restaurant and the Hospitality Shop at Westmoreland Hospital. Her life was full of adventures and her generous heart will be missed by all. She loved playing music and had so many wonderful friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward White. She is survived by her husband, John Skodak; three children, Barry Skodak (Heather), of New Castle, Christi Baughman (Adam), of Greensburg, and John Skodak (Pam), of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Heidi, Jason, Ella and Ava; and a large extended family. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Barbara from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Pantalone Funeral Home, with Pastor Allen Riethmiller celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. Please be prepared to adhere to all CDC guidelines, including wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
