Barbara Sloan Obituary
Barbara Ruth Sloan - Age 93, of Linden, passed away February 2, 2026 at home surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to McLaren Hospice.
Barbara was born April 27, 1932 in Tyrone Township the daughter of the late George Adam and Eulalos Roslin (Draper) Kirshman. She married Harold F. Sloan on September 2, 1951. Barbara had been active with the 4-H., Linden Masonic Lodge and Linden O.E.S for many years. Barbara and Harold loved traveling and camping in their Fifth Wheel. Barbara's family was always paramount in her life.
She is survived by her children, Michael D. (Tiffany) Sloan, Richard D. (Diane) Sloan, Judy L. (Larry) Auker, Cynthia A. (Lyle) Healey and Denise M. (Nick) Gremanis; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son, Phillip (Sharon) Sloan; siblings, Eleanor, Howard, Marian and Bernerd; daughter-in-law, Mary Sloan.
