Barbara Small Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Services Direct on Feb. 19, 2026.
Barbara Ann Small, 85, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, in South Carolina, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 27, 1940, in New York, Barbara later made Florida her home before spending her final days in South Carolina.

Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Sharon Small (Dominic Pironti), and Albert Small (Donna Small). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Joseph (Loraine), Kimberly (Matt), AJ ( Kate), and Alyssa (Kyle). Her legacy continues through her cherished great-grandchildren: Cameron, Asher, Kenna, Talia, Mia and Henry, who brought endless light and happiness to her life.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved soulmate, Mike, whose love and companionship meant the world to her. She also held close to her heart Mike's children - Mike (Dana), Liz, and Julie (Josh) embracing them as part of her extended family and sharing in life's memories together. She was also blessed by their children: Cassidy, Mike, Charlotte, Roxy, and Jacob.

Barbara worked as a dedicated bookkeeper at the Keon Center, where she contributed her time and talents to an organization devoted to serving disabled adults. She took pride in her work and the difference it made in the lives of others.

A woman of many interests, Barbara found joy in sewing, jewelry making, reading, playing solitaire, traveling, shopping, and spending meaningful time with friends and family. She was a proud member of the Eastern Star and valued the friendships and fellowship it brought into her life. Whether gathered around a kitchen table, spending time with family and friends, or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon with a book, Barbara treasured the simple moments that made life beautiful.

Barbara will be remembered for her steady presence, her devotion to those she loved, and the warmth she brought into every room. Though she will be deeply missed, her love lives on in the hearts of her family and in the generations, she helped shape.

Her memory will forever be a blessing.
