Barbara Standish

Barbara Ann (Loisell) Standish, born May 2, 1931, passed away July 1, 2022.
Born & raised in Richland, MI, graduating in the Class of 1949. Stories were shared of Barb working the Resort & Boat Livery with her Sister, Betty Cutshaw.
Barb enjoyed Crafts and Ceramics, where Barb & Betty once has their own Shop in Mendon, "B & B Think & Do". Barb loved to play Pinochle and was active in the community. She did Make-up for Kiwanis Showboat for many years and was a member of the Mendon Women´s Club as well. She will be dearly missed by all.
Barb loved all of her Children, Grand-Children and Great Grand Children.
Barb married her late Husband, Robert (Bob) P. Standish on March 21, 1964, joining a "His-Hers & soon to be Ours" Family of nine: Deborah J. (Snyder) (Rick) Jean, Rececca (Standish) (Clyde) Darasko, Richard (Rick) E. Snyder, Robert (Bob) P Standish II, Robin L. (Standish) (Ken) Warren, Christopher J. Standish, Tanya Standish Robert (Rob) L. Snyder and Scott P. (Robin) Standish.
Barb was a wonderful Grandma, Mamma and Memaw to 21 Grand Children: Melissa (David) Pierce, Brian Jean, Brandon Jean, Scott Darasko, Justin Standish, Brett Standish, Casey Warren, Sara (Warren) Crill, Samantha (Warren) McNicholas, Lyndsey (Warren) Schulte, Lois Standish (Miller), Christopher Standish, Janna Garland, Keith Garland, Jacqueline Covey, Scott Snyder, Robby Snyder, Brittany Rodriguez, Mary-Scott (Standish) DeMarchis, Brooke Rodriguez, and Cameron-Ann Standish, as well as several Great Grand Children.
Barbara was preceded in death of her husband, Robert P. Standish (Bob), Son, Richard Snyder (Rick), Step Daughter, Tanya Standish and Grandson, Keith Garland.
Family and Friends are invited to share in a Memorial Service for Barb, on August 5, 2022, beginning at 10:30 AM, at Leonidas Missionary Baptist Church, 31209 E. M-60, Leonidas, MI 49066.
