My sympathy to Barbara's family. I worked with her for several years with the area GED program. I had deep respect for her. She was a great volunteer for the GED program and helped more people than we can ever really know. She would make appointments to meet them at the library to tutor and test them for the GED. She did this in all kinds of weather. She will be remembered by many for her work and great example.

I was so sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. Barb was a great lady! So giving of her time and knowledge when working with GED students for so many years at the Library. I also miss her coming in and checking out books each week! I will be praying for the family as they deal with this sad time.
