Barbara King Studstill

Barbara King Studstill was born on June 25, 1948, in Opp, Alabama to Willie and Totsie King. She was the eldest daughter Barbara King Studstill wed the love of her life, Eddie "Jack" Studstill, Sr., in 1968. They were married for thirty-eight years, and two sons were born from that union. She was an entrepreneur, joining her husband in the foliage industry as well as branching off on her own as an Avon Ambassador for forty-two years.
She loved the Lord and was an obedient servant. Barbara King Studstill was an active member of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Apopka, Florida, for fifty years. She served in the Culinary Ministry. She was a member of the Mary Small Wilson Women's Missionary Society and served as the president for many years, as well as a Stewardess for forty-five years. She was awarded the distinct honor of Silver Sister for the 11 th Episcopal District Women's Missionary Society. Barbara King Studstill was preceded in death by her husband Eddie "Jack" Studstill, Sr., her son Eddie Studstill, Jr., her father, Willie King, her mother, Totsie King, her brothers: Robert King, Alphonso King and Clifford King, Sr., and her sisters: Dorothy King and Linda King.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her sons: Darrick L. Studstill (Tonnettia Jones, fiancé), and Kalvain Tatum Sr., all of Apopka, FL; her daughter-in-law: Samantha G. Studstill of Apopka, FL; her grandchildren: Eric Studstill (Alicia) of Apopka, FL, Jalen Studstill (Katie) of Marion, KS, Ryan Studstill and Zoie Studstill, both of Apopka, FL; Her great-grandchildren: Zion Studstill of Apopka, FL, Keaton Studstill of Marion, KS, and a precious delivery due December 2025; her brothers: Reverend Richard E. King (Laurastine) and Gary King, both of Apopka, FL; her brothers-in-law: William Studstill of Miami, FL, Preston
Studstill (Inez) of Miami, FL; her sisters: Elma Gary (Michael) of Bloomfield, CT and Shirley Bell of Apopka, FL; her sisters-in-law: Carrie Mae Studstill of Apopka, FL, Ruby Studstill-Dickerson (Calvin) of Leesburg, GA, and Sophia Coverson (Tyrone) of Miami, FL. Along with her devoted friend, caregiver, confidant,
and road warrior of 26 years, Shirley Baldwin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, and friends who will forever feel the loss of her presence.
