H.R. and Alberta, I just found out that the world has lost a beautiful soul in Barb. I can't tell you how sad I am and understand the loss you must be feeling. If anyone ever touched my life from childhood on, as my babysitter and park counselor, it was Barb. And then to get the blessing to babysit her boys, I always felt such an affection for her. I am so sorry for your loss. Know she was loved and thought of often by those of us who knew her and missed her presence in Waynesboro. I have a picture of her and I playing tether ball from Memorial Park which I have always treasured from the 60's. God Bless you all.

Dear HR and family, Warm memories flow as I reminisce of our friendship in Waynesboro. As Roberta's best friend, Barbara was so tolerant and kind with us and our antics. I will always remember her smile, her peaceful nature, and warm heart. She was loved and admired my all she touched. I feel blessed to have been in her presence. Peace and love to all of you. Dear HR and family,

We can't even begin to express the shock we felt upon learning of Barb's passing. We had so many good times growing up. Barb and I would sit on the front steps on Clayton Ave.with Paddy running around us,discussing all sorts of things. The overnights were also great fun!! Barb's Mother and my Mother grew up together and had a lifelong friendship. Even though distance has kept us from being together,I will always treasure the wonderful friendship we shared. She was a beautiful person inside and out. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I heard this news this morning and my heart broke. I think back to all the days and nights we worked together for Manchester HS athletic association, watched our boys play baseball, and even when I ran into you at St Mary's a few months ago, we talked and shared our cancer stories, showed pictures of our grandchildren!! You were a soft spoken, lovely lady, who will be missed by all. Thinking of your family during this difficult time.

I met Barbara while she shopped at the children's boutique where I work several years ago. She was overjoyed to enlist my help selecting gifts for her grandchildren. Barbara and I developed a casual friendship as time went on. I always looked forward her positivity and warm smile. Once I became a mother our conversations shifted to all the wonderful things children bring to this world. She was beautiful person and I am grateful to have met her. My condolences to her family.
