Barbara Jones Sullivan

Barbara Jones Sullivan, 73, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Rooks Funeral Home, 109 West White Road in Byron, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Ben Newberry will officiate. Family will greet friends after the service at the home of Jimmy and Teresa Jones, 1041 Marshall Mill Road, Byron.
Born in Macon to the late Bobby Lewis Jones and Jeanette Elizabeth Willingham Jones, Barbara was retired from Elberta Nursing Home. She had a green thumb that went all the way up to her shoulder and enjoyed cooking and baking for others, earning the title of "Master Baker". Her favorite times were spent outdoors where she loved camping and fishing.
Survivors include her husband, Marion N. Sullivan; her daughters, April Renee Woodham (Jonathan), Anita Hope Wyandt (Joseph), and Elizabeth Ann Hall (Matthew); grandchildren, Carolyn Jeanette Woodham, Zachery Woodham, Brandon Scott Bass (Emily), Johnathan Tylor Bass (Tiffany), Lucas Alexander Bass, Hayden Matthew Hall, Gage Lawrence Hall, and Sydney Elizabeth Hall; brother and sisters, Ruby Holt (Jimmy), Cindy Dykes (Tony), Jimmy Jones (Teresa), and Melinda Jones. She is preceded in death by a son, Raymond Newman, a sister, Susan Jones Griffin, and a brother, Ken Jones.
Rooks Funeral Home in Byron is in charge of arrangements.
