Barbara D. Tillman

Barbara Darnell Tillman was born on February 8, 1951, to Lum and Truma Jennings. She was a member of Ashport Baptist Church. Barbara worked at Tennessee Diecasting for eleven years. She later became a caregiver for many people over the years. Barbara found joy in helping with her church in many ways. She volunteered her time to help with VBS, The Kitchen Committee, and Fall Festival.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; Leslie, Jack, Paul, and Preacher Jennings, one sister; Helen Forbish.
She is survived by her sister; Leona Sonderman, one son; Brian (Sharon) Latham, daughter; Barbara Ann Hilliard, three grandchildren; Zoe Latham, Brittany Smallwood, and Bethany McCormick, seven great-grandchildren; Skylar & Kinzlee McNeal, Jaycee Prescott, and Braden Cole Smallwood, Brandon Lee Smallwood, and Gigi Smallwood.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00pm at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home and the burial will follow at Poplar Groce Cemetery in Henning, TN.
