Barbara passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016. Barbara was a resident of DeMotte, Indiana at the time of her passing. She was a graduate of Merrillville High School. She was married to Joseph. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Little Funeral Service 811 E. Franciscan Dr. south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd 55 Crown Point on Friday June 3 2016 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 4 2016 from Pruzin Little Chapel with Rev. Ed Tlucek officiating. Cremation to follow service. At rest Cemetery of the Resurrection DeMotte IN.

To the Tomasic family, Please accept our most sincere condolences. I will always remember Barbara as the wonderful and caring mother of my childhood best friend, Lisa. My mother admired Barbara greatly and considered her a dear friend and wonderful neighbor. I will always remember how Mrs. Tomasic drove us kids to kindergarten and later to St. Peter and Paul with the car radio tuned to Easy Listening. We were always relaxed when we got to school! My sisters and I will always remember Barbara as a caring neighbor and friend. With love and respect from the "Gallo Girls": Nora Brown (Valparaiso, IN), Toni Gallo (Valparaiso, IN), Zina Brechbill (Salisbury, MD), and Fran Gallo (Seattle, WA)...(our sister Jeanie Urbano, our dad Charles Gallo, and our mom Josephine Gallo are also resting in eternal peace.)
