Barbara L. Trelease

Barbara L. Trelease, 73, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 16, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family.   She was the wife of Kevin J. Trelease, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage.  Born in Reading on June 16, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Everett W. and Mary (Lind) Smith.   Barbara worked for the former NJ Bell Co.  Most recently, she worked as a medical assistant for a private medical practice.   She was an avid NY Mets fan, who never missed watching a game.   Barbara’s passion was her two sons, Scott and Denis.   She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband Kevin, she is survived by sons: Scott Trelease and wife Yvette of Edison, NJ, Denis Trelease of Slatington; grandchildren: Xavier, Anna, Andrew.  She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Mandi Trelease.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Good Shepherd UCC, 3940 Mountain Road, Slatington.   Family and friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11AM.  Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara’s name can be made to the ALS Association, 321 Norristown Rd, Suite 260, Ambler PA 19002.  The family wishes to send a special Thank You to all the doctors and health care workers who provided wonderful care to Barbara.
