Barbara Viljac Obituary
Barbara Ann Viljac, 79, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Morgantown on March 28, 1946.
She was a racing enthusiasts that enjoyed supporting her son during his career. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and was an avid football fan.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Horton and his fiancé Chantal McAllister; sister, Margaret “Sis” Darnell; cousins, Joyce Buehner and Paula Williams; and special friend, Allison Harris.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Tom Viljac and brother, Ray Casteel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 5006 Mid Atlantic Dr., Morgantown, WV 26508.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Monday, December 22nd from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM with Tim Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Fletcher Cemetery.
