Barbara Walkowiak Obituary
Barbara Ann Sharp, Schroeder-Walkowiak, peacefully passed away on March 19, 2025 at Bethesda Gardens assisted living home in Phoenix, AZ. She was 83 years old. Barbara was born on December 17th, 1941 in Rome, NY two years later her parents relocated the family to Phoenix, AZ for Barbara’s health reasons. Barbara graduated from West Phoenix High School.
Barbara is survived by her only child, Robert John Schroeder (wife Amy) of Louisville, KY. and two grandsons, Brandon and Garin Schroeder also of KY. Her two brothers, David Sharp (Kathy) of Phoenix, AZ and Gary Sharp (Nancy) of Prescott, AZ and sister, Marilyn Kirby (William) of Sun City West, AZ. Numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Howard & Lucille Beasley- Sharp. Her first husband, Arthur J. Schroeder and her second, husband Gerald Walkowiak.
A graveside service is planned for Monday, April 7th, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at St Francis Catholic Cemetery located at 2022 N 48th Street, Phoenix, Az. 85008. 602-267-1329. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
