Barbara Wareing Obituary
On October 20, 1951, Barbara married the love of her life, John Wareing. Together they raised three children. Barbara is survived by son Mark (Becky) Wareing, daughters, Sue D. (Terry) Weesner and April (Russell) Edwards, Grandchildren, Holly (Joe) Caswell, Paul (Jeff) Weesner, Andrea (Jason) Roher, Alexander Edwards, Anna Edwards, and John Edwards, Great-grandchildren, Noah Roher, Nicholas Roher, and Lilly Caswell. She was predeceased by her husband, John D. Wareing.
Barbara faced life's challenges with remarkable courage, beating three different kinds of cancer over the years. Her perseverance and strength inspired everyone who knew her. Later in life, she combined her entrepreneurial spirit in her Scottish heritage to open The Scottish Thistle, a charming gift shop located in Williamston.
The family held private graveside services.
