Barbara Faye Watson

Barbara Faye Garrett Watson, age 73, of Madisonville, went home to be with our Lord and Savior at 8:37 A.M. Monday, November 10, 2025. Barbara was known for her caring compassion, strength, and unwavering love and dedication to her family. She shared 43 years with her late husband Michael Watson. Barbara spent the majority of her life caring for her family and home, she also gave 18 years as a valued employee at Dollar General.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Charles E. Garrett and Hazel Moses Garrett, brothers Donald Garrett, Harold Garrett, Larry Garrett, and Bill Garrett, and sister Laverne Garrett Lee Alley
Survivors-Loving children: Chris Watson (Ashley), Kevin Watson (Cherity), Kayla Mason; Grandchildren: Parker, Cooper, Mason, Megyn Watson, Colton Watson, Hunter and Chloe Gayheart: Sister: Sue (Jimmy) Ivens; Brothers: Jimmy (Mary Ann) Garrett, Jackie (Linda) Garrett, Johnny (Kaye) Garrett, Jeff Garrett, Mike Garrett; many nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss her dearly. The family would like to thank Barbara's devoted hospice nurses Sara Clevenger and Cheyenne Law with Adoration Home Health & Hospice to include Mary Moses and Trish McDowell. They were a blessing to Barbara and her family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, with the funeral immediately following at Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Steven McDonald officiating. The Interment will take place Saturday morning at Chestua Campground Community Cemetery on 15 November at 11:00. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
