It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Morgen Wertheimer, 74, of Huntingdon Valley, PA - a devoted mother and Nana, cherished friend, and remarkable person whose warmth, creativity, and compassion touched everyone who knew her.

Her presence onstage was complimented by her offstage passion for set-building with her best friend, Mary. She practiced both family and zoning law, serving on the Abington Township Planning Commission and Zoning Hearing Board for over 30 years. In 2005, Barbara became the Executive Director of Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy. She worked tirelessly and with the utmost compassion to enhance the programs at Pegasus, ultimately touching the lives of thousands of riders and their families.
Barbara’s life was a testament to compassion, resilience, and kindness. Known for her strength of character and unwavering advocacy for others, she was the heart of her family and a source of strength for her entire community.
