Barbara Wolfrum Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. - Charlotte Hall on Mar. 18, 2025.
Barbara Ann Wolfrum, age 78, of Leonardtown, MD, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025. Born on August 12, 1946, to the late Walter John Bladen and Mary Jane Bladen (Darne), Barbara lived a life filled with love, joy, and devotion to her family.
In 1964, Barbara married John Theodore Wolfrum, and together they raised four children: John T. Wolfrum Jr. of Newburg, MD; Walter D. Wolfrum (Lisa) of Hertford, NC; Kandy M. Corley (Gary) of Leonardtown, MD; and Bonnie L. Wolfrum (Wes) of Mechanicsville, MD. Barbara cherished her role as a mother, and her family was the center of her world.
She was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: John T. Wolfrum III, Krystal M. Wolfrum, Michael P. Corley, Wesley M. Linn Jr., Gary L. Corley Jr., Kelsey M. Linn, Kaycee N. Linn, Kylie R. Linn, Kaleb N. Linn, Serenity H. Wolfrum, Sebastian H. Wolfrum and Sterling H. Wolfrum. She was also a great-grandmother to Teagan and Vincent Wolfrum. Barbara found great joy in watching her grandchildren grow and spending time with them.
Barbara enjoyed the simple pleasures of life-especially family gatherings, spending time with friends, and playing bingo. Her warmth, kindness, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, John. Barbara is survived by her four children, two sisters, Patricia Ann Sheffler and Donna Lee Bladen, both of Newburg, MD, two nieces, Cheryl Burch (Raymond) and Denise Sheffler, and a legacy of love that will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Barbara's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support they've received during this difficult time. In her memory, let us remember the joy she brought to our lives and carry forward her spirit of kindness, warmth, and devotion to family.
Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.brinsfieldfuneral.com.
