Linda Lichwick, of Port Jervis, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2023. She was 72 years old. Linda was born July 15, 1950 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of the late Elizabeth Martin and Harold Martin. Linda graduated from Port Jervis High School in 1969. She worked for the Port Jervis School District for over 30 years.
A family statement read: "Linda was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and wife. Linda met the love of her life, Edward Lichwick, in high school and they married on September 14, 1969. The two created and shared an inseparable bond. Linda had many admirable qualities, though one of the most was her love for her grandchildren: Jace Mazur, Ethan Foglia and Ian Foglia. She loved watching them, spoiling them and going to their sporting events. Amongst those who knew her, Linda was known to always be willing to give to her friends and family. She always tended to others needs and made sure they were taken care of.
Linda is survived by her loving, devoted husband and best friend Edward Lichwick, Jr., son Edward Lichwick III; her daughter Kimberly Foglia, her husband Justin Foglia, and their two sons Ethan and Ian; her daughter Debbi Mazur, her husband Alexander Mazur, and their son Jace Mazur.
There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Cremation will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.
Memorial contributions in Linda's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 stjude.org/donate use code 23510056.
