Barbaranne Bello, age 69, of Brentwood, New York, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025. She was born on July 30, 1956, to James McChesney and Rosann McChesney. Barabaranne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Peter Bello; her cherished daughter, Christina Bello- Lockwood; and her grandson, Joseph Lockwood. She is survived by her loving brother, James McChesney; her devoted sons, Joseph Bello (Keri Bello) and Salvatore Bello ( Cecily Bello). Barbaranne was a proud and adoring, grandmother to Angelina Bello, Tonianne Lockwood, Nova Bello, Francesca Lockwood, and Santino Bello, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. Barbaranne dedicated her career to serving others as a Substance Abuse Counselor, touching countless lives through her compasion, guidance and unwavering commitment to helping those in need. She also took great pride in her time as a crossing guard, where she worked for three years at North Middle School. Barbaranne truly loved all the children and staff members she worked with, forming meaningful connections and bringing warmth and care to everyone she encountered. Known as the most caring and meaningful person one could know, Barbaranne was selfless, loving and deeply devoted to her family. She treasured time spent with her loved ones and found joy in working on her puzzles. Barbaranne is now reunited in heaven with those who preceded her in death. She will be eternally missed and forever cherished by her family and all whose lives she touched.
Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes of Brentwood, N.Y. is honored to be entrusted with the care of,Barbaranne Bello. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 beginning in the afternoon from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and again in the evening from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Evening Wake Service. Please join the family on Friday, December 19th for Closing Prayers 9:15 a.m. at the Funeral Home followed by a Procession to St. Lukes RC Church at 10:00 a.m. Private Cremation.
