Barbrith J. "Barb" Snow

Barbrith "Barb" J. Snow, 92, Marion, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Aperion Care in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on February 14, 1932, to Earl Shanks and Justine (Pfleider) O'Brien. On September 11, 1953, she married George Snow, who preceded her in death.

Barb graduated from Marion High School in 1950. She worked with the Post Office Vending Stand for the Blind from 1950-1953, where she made many cherished connections. Her love for animals, especially cats and horses, was well-known. She found great joy in visiting the horses at the State Fair and reminiscing about her younger years spent riding horses. Barb also enjoyed her frequent trips to Brandt's Jewelry to visit her friends and look at the jewelry. She also looked forward to getting her hair done weekly, playing spoons with her friends at Aperion Care, as well as listening to country music.

Survivors include her beloved friends, Peggy and Bill Peterson and their family.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and cousin, Robbin Parker.

A graveside service for Barb will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Estates of Serenity. Pastor Mick Simpkins will be officiating.
