Barney C. Green

Barney C. Green, a beloved father, grandfather, and devoted family man, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Born on October 31, 1930, Barney lived a long life marked by devotion and hard work. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen M. Green, with whom he shared 68 wonderful years of marriage. Barney was known as a hardworking man who took immense pride in providing for his family. He was truly a "jack of all trades," capable of fixing nearly anything, from home repairs to resurrecting any broken lawn mower. He found great enjoyment and satisfaction in tending to his yard.
Barney was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, his parents, and siblings Ruth Knowlan, Birtha Shrum, Margie Layne, Elsie Rhoades, Cleo Kilgore, James Arcie, and Henry Cleston.
His legacy lives on through his loving children: Chester (Lori) Green, Susan Noles, Richard (Nella) Green, and John (Dee) Green. He was a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather to nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Velma Coffelt.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH.
