Barrett Tegner Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home - Albany on Nov. 4, 2024.
Barrett Lee Tegner, Jr., known affectionately by friends and family as "B" or Barrett, went home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2024, after a brave journey through a long illness. Born on May 2, 1991, in Corvallis, Oregon, he came full circle. As he said, "I was born in this hospital, and I will be born again in this hospital." Barrett was the man who brought light and laughter into every room. His parents, Bear and Kasey Tegner, knew from the start that he was destined to leave his unique mark on the world. With his sister, Spencer Tegner, he made memories that will last a lifetime. After living in Washington DC and attending the University of Washington DC, Barrett moved to San Francisco and attended the San Francisco School of Massage. His work history was as eclectic as his personality, from sales to serving, and from massage therapy to life coaching. Barrett knew how to live life to the fullest. His travels took him to live in Washington DC, San Francisco, Maui, Oahu, Kauai; Tulum, Mexico; and Brazil. But his heart was always in Hawaii. Barrett's healing hands and heart weren't just his work; they were his calling. He touched lives in ways that only those who know and love him can say. Barrett found solace in nature, and the beach was his sanctuary. Loving, adventurous, creative-these words were not just descriptors; they were the essence of Barrett. He lived a life that many only dream of, embracing every moment with a vibrancy that was contagious. His laughter was free and open. He was known for his great smile and laugh. Barrett Lee Tegner, Jr: he made his life a masterpiece of joy and love, and for that, he will be forever remembered for his personal tagline, "I love you completely."
