Barry spent nearly his entire life in Eustis, Florida, with a brief five-year period in Clarksville, Tennessee. A man of many talents and passions, he found joy in making music. He played the guitar, harmonica, and piano, bringing warmth and melody to those around him. Barry also had a deep love for socializing and being in the company of friends and family.
For over 35 years, Barry owned and operated a lawn care business, taking great pride in his work and maintaining strong relationships with many loyal clients throughout the years. He retired in early 2020 and moved to Clarksville, Tennessee, to spend time with family before returning to Eustis in 2024.
In 1985, Barry married the love of his life, Sue Lee Foster, in Eustis, Florida. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sue Foster, his cherished partner Suzanna Hartge, and his parents Kent and Shirley Bowron.
Barry is survived by his loving children: Brandy Cardozo (wife Alicia Cardozo), Anjanette Wronko, and Ross Bowron (wife Leigh Anna). He also leaves behind his devoted siblings: Bonny Shirk (husband Dick), Bruce Bowron (spouse Sherry), and Barbara Hamlin (husband Tim). He was predeceased by his parents Kent and Shirley Bowron, and his brother Brian Bowron. Barry's legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Jasper Rivas, Bergen Bowron, Perrin Bowron, Cashion Bowron, and Griffen Bowron.
A gathering in Barry's honor will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamlin and Hilbish Chapel, followed by a memorial service.
