A funeral service will take place at 6 PM.
Barry Brandt, 78, of Kingston died Thursday July 10, 2025 at Greene Meadows Nursing And Rehabilitation Center. He was born on May 29, 1947 in Kingston, a son of the late Harry and Cora (Smith) Brandt.
Barry served our country in the United States Air Force during The Vietnam War. He was a self-employed roofer In a family business Brandt Brothers Roofing. He was also employed for the City of Kingston as Housing Code inspector for nine years and delivered for Ulster County Meals On Wheels for twelve years. He enjoyed traveling to visit his children.
Surviving is his wife Patricia Brandt, a daughter Alison Brandt and her fiancé Cory Tendering, and a son Ryan Brandt. Two siblings Shirley Gollnick and her husband Robert, and Roger Brandt and his wife Georgine.
He was predeceased by his son; Christopher James Brandt siblings Joyce Brandt, Charles Brandt, Walter Brandt, Aileen Bushy, Harry Brandt, Jr., Donald Koeppen, Ralph Brandt, Cora Reilly, Doris Brandt, Ronald Brandt, Gerald Brandt and John Brandt.

I am so sorry to hear about Barry`s passing. I consider myself blessed to have known Barry and the family for over 40 years. Good neighbors and great friends. May he rest in peace and may the Lord welcome him with open arms.
